**Large Leaved Lime Tree – Tilia platyphyllos – 9L Pot**

This narrowly domed tree is native to parts of Europe and the UK, and it has pleasant green foliage with fragrant yellow-green flowers. The reddish-brown young stems later develop dark grey bark with fine fissures and furrows. It is not related to the citrus fruit-bearing lime, despite its name, however it is believed that its name has been acquired as a result of a corruption of ‘line’. A spectacular tree and a classic on these isles, it will add grandeur to your horizon.
